An invitation to entrepreneurs from the CEO of iGA Istanbul Airport...

Emphasizing the significance of technology as a crucial factor in enhancing global competitiveness, Kadri Samsunlu, CEO of iGA Istanbul Airport, asserted that this primarily stems from innovative, bold technologies and the start-ups responsible for their development. Samsunlu further mentioned that the iGA Hub program aims to implement inventive concepts and bolster technological initiatives in the fields of Civil Aviation and Airport Management. Samsunlu encouraged entrepreneurs with groundbreaking solutions in civil aviation to engage with iGA, to expedite their initiatives' development and benefit from iGA's assistance. He went on to add that, "Through iGA Hub, we intend to make a significant contribution to both Turkish and global civil aviation, as we progress towards establishing a global brand. These initiatives cultivated at iGA Istanbul Airport will not only benefit the aviation industry but also extend support to other sectors."

This collaborative endeavor marks the beginning of our success story!

Prof. Dr. Attila Dikbas, General Manager of ITU ARI Teknokent, highlighted their support to 7,600 entrepreneurs at ITU Seed, their incubation centers, resulting in these projects attracting TRY 760 million of investment with their ecosystems having expanded five times over the previous two years. Dikbas noted that, "While ITU Seed has been supporting technology projects for 10 years, we have noted that partnering with a stakeholder who is an expert in their own industry leads to far greater success." In this regard, iGA's initiative holds significant importance for both the advancement of the aviation industry and the promotion of technology entrepreneurship. This partnership will further foster numerous success stories in our international programs and interdisciplinary collaborations across various verticals in the upcoming years. He added, "This collaboration will create a significant knock-on effect in driving national technology-based development."
