iGA Istanbul Airport was awarded the "Best Transfer Airport" and "Best Family-Friendly International Airport" for the second time in a row by US-based travel magazine, Global Traveler.

This year, at the eleventh Leisure Lifestyle Awards held by Global Traveler, iGA Istanbul Airport was voted as "Best Transfer Airport" for the second time, and, at the sixth Wherever Awards, iGA Istanbul Airport, was once again, after winning the award in 2022, named the "Best Family-Friendly International Airport."

Through the annual survey conducted by Global Traveler, readers vote on services, destinations, hotels, airlines and cruises based on their travel experiences, with the results determining the best in the world.

In addition to the many awards it has received to date, iGA Istanbul Airport was selected as the "World's Best Airport" and the "World's Most Family-Friendly Airport" in the "Over 60 Million Passengers" category, given by the international aviation assessment organization, Skytrax. iGA Istanbul Airport was also declared "Best Airport in Southern Europe".
