iGA Istanbul Airport Hosts the Sustainability Summit

On October 8, 2025, iGA Istanbul Airport hosted the Sustainability Summit, bringing together a wide range of stakeholders to discuss the aviation sector’s sustainability vision, iGA’s ongoing initiatives, and future commitments.

The summit opened with discussions on global sustainability trends and corporate governance, followed by an in-depth presentation of iGA’s 2030 sustainability targets and 2050 Net Zero Roadmap. Participants were briefed on strategies for carbon reduction, the use of IoT technologies in energy transition, waste management practices, and opportunities in the circular economy.

Key highlights also included iGA Academy’s regional training partnerships, the airport’s people-centered service model, guest satisfaction, and social sustainability practices. In addition, the Greenstars program, which iGA has recently joined, was officially introduced.
