Mehmet Emin Kaynak Library Opens at the iGA Campus
iGA Istanbul Airport has gone beyond being just an airport by opening the Mehmet Emin Kaynak Library at the iGA Campus, creating a space that supports both cultural enrichment and personal development. The library offers nearly two thousand works across diverse genres—from Turkish literature and history to personal growth and fantasy novels, exclusively for iGA employees.
The library is named in memory of Mehmet Emin Kaynak, whose dedication and expertise played a pivotal role in the development of the Advanced Surface Movement Guidance and Control System (A-SMGCS). Having been part of the Istanbul Airport project from the very beginning, Kaynak made invaluable contributions to the implementation of this cutting-edge system, which today stands as a source of pride for the airport.
This meaningful initiative not only enhances the professional and personal growth of employees but also ensures that the legacy of Mehmet Emin Kaynak continues to live on within the iGA community.
