- Although unaccompanied children are given priority at airports, it is still important to ensure that your child arrives at the airport at least two hours before the flight. Istanbul Airport has a check-in counter specially reserved for unaccompanied minors.
- During the check-in process, our staff will explain the procedure and provide you with the necessary documents to sign.
- On completion of the check-in and paperwork procedures, minor passengers will be accompanied on board the aircraft by a staff member.
- Please make sure that your child's flight has departed before leaving the airport.
- On arrival, the cabin crew will hand the minor passenger over to the designated staff member at the destination. After completion of the customs and baggage formalities, the staff member will transfer the minor passenger to the person specified by you, in exchange for a signature.
