AIRCAIRO Moves All Istanbul Flights to iGA Istanbul Airport The "World's Meeting Hub" Welcomes AIRCAIRO as It Expands Its Presence in Türkiye
iGA Istanbul Airport, known as the "World's Meeting Hub" with partnerships with more than 110 airlines and connections to over 340 destinations worldwide, will now host all of Egyptian carrier AIRCAIRO's Istanbul operations.
AIRCAIRO operated its first flight to iGA Istanbul Airport on 23 July and will operate daily round-trip flights on the Cairo–Istanbul route. As part of the strategic partnership, flights to Sharm El-Sheikh will begin on 26 October, followed by Hurghada on 26 December 2026. With these flights to three key destinations in Egypt, AIRCAIRO will consolidate all its Istanbul operations at iGA Istanbul Airport, reaching a total of 11 weekly frequencies by the end of 2026. Ticket sales are now open for flights to Cairo, Sharm El-Sheikh, and Hurghada.
Commenting on the partnership, Server Aydın, iGA Istanbul Airport Chief Commercial Officer, said:

Founded in 2003 and serving more than 90 destinations, AIRCAIRO is known for offering comfortable, budget-friendly travel options. A subsidiary of Egypt's flag carrier EgyptAir, the airline operates an extensive international route network.
Commenting on the partnership, Hussein Sherif, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of AIRCAIRO, said:

Sherif also noted that AIRCAIRO's expanding network will complement existing capacity on the Istanbul–Cairo route, and that the new services are expected to contribute significantly to increased passenger traffic while creating important opportunities for tourism to Egypt's Red Sea destinations.
