"Social responsibility is one of the essential cornerstones of our corporate culture"
iGA CEO Kadri Samsunlu, reiterating their commitment to managing all aspects of iGA Istanbul Airport from design to production in line with a zero-waste approach, has emphasized the importance of fostering a sustainable business culture in their activities. "Despite being a new establishment, our corporate culture places significant emphasis on social responsibility initiatives." It is particularly exciting for us that the artworks are created from the waste materials gathered at the Istanbul Airport Waste Management Center. I am immensely pleased that we have highlighted the importance of sustainability, environmental awareness, and waste material recycling through the 'From Garbage to Art' initiative, a follow-up to Artwist's 2019 'From Waste to Art' project, which was inspired by the Zero Waste concept. We are donating TRY 1,02 million to support those in need, thanks to this initiative. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to our artists, Professor Rahmi Atalay and Olgaç Artamand, and in particular, to the First Lady, Emine Erdoğan, for their contributions to the project," said Sumsunlu.
