Global Aviation’s Leader Remains Unchanged iGA Istanbul Airport Once Again Ranks First in the Condé Nast Traveller Awards

Readers of Condé Nast Traveller, one of the world's leading travel publications, have once again named iGA Istanbul Airport the “World’s Best Airport” in the Readers’ Choice Awards 2026. With a score of 94.29, iGA Istanbul Airport surpassed Singapore Changi Airport and Dubai International Airport to secure the top position.

iGA Istanbul Airport, which maintains its position as a global hub with flights to approximately 350 destinations worldwide, has again been named the “World’s Best Airport” by readers of Condé Nast Traveller, one of the most prestigious publications in travel journalism.

According to the results of the Readers’ Choice Awards 2026, organised by the UK edition of Condé Nast Traveller, iGA Istanbul Airport topped the rankings with a score of 94.29. With this achievement, iGA Istanbul Airport surpassed some of the world’s major airports.

7. Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (Spain): 90.23
8. Hong Kong International Airport (Hong Kong): 89.50
9. Cape Town International Airport (South Africa): 88.24
10. Rome Fiumicino Airport (Italy): 87.92

Having topped the rankings of Condé Nast Traveler’s US edition in both 2024 and 2025, iGA Istanbul Airport further reinforced its success by securing first place in the UK edition this year, continuing to lead the global aviation industry.
