Offering its guests events intertwined with music, dance and art to celebrate the 100th anniversary of our Republic, iGA Istanbul Airport shares this enthusiasm with whole Türkiye via its 100th anniversary commercial containing the theme of independence melody.

iGA Istanbul Airport hosts events that will always be recalled by the guests on the occasion of centenary celebrations of our Republic. The 100th anniversary commercial highlighting the struggle for independence demonstrated by Turkish people, meets the audiences in all TV, digital and social platforms simultaneously with the activities.

The commercial featuring the past intersecting the present day, starts with the farewell paid by three young men, who in 1922 embark on defending the homeland from Antep, Maraş and Urfa, to their homes and the beloved ones. With a melody in their ears and a rhythm on their feet, these young men combat under the command of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk at the front.

The commercial continues with a little girl sitting at iGA Istanbul Airport holding her father's hand, hearing the melody that was in the ears of the soldiers at the beginning of the commercial and accompanying the rhythm with her feet. Then, looking up at the flight information screen, the little girl first sees the names of Maraş, Antep and Urfa, and then the names of these cities change with the titles of Kahraman, Gazi, and Şanlı being added.

The girl running after the music, which continues to increase its tempo, hears the Republican Symphony among the flags and posters where she reaches through the crowds.

The commercial ends with the message "While the struggle for independence on the first day is still ringing in our ears, you are a very valuable note in this Republican Symphony that we have composed as a nation in a hundred years".
