With Europe’s first Triple Runway Operations boosting its hourly movements from 120 to 148, iGA is preparing for quadruple runway capacity in 2026 and planning for expansion to serve up to 200 million passengers annually.

With travellers increasingly prioritising sustainability, iGA Istanbul Airport is committed to Net Zero by 2050, backed by science-based targets and major investments in renewable energy. The airport is taking significant steps to meet these targets include a €212m investment in its Eskişehir Solar Power Plant.
