Outstanding Achievement Award from APEX

In 2022, iGA Istanbul Airport was seen to be deserving of the 'Outstanding Achievement' award presented by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX). APEX, the first airline rating program based on passenger feedback, announced its 2022 evaluation results at an awards ceremony held in Dublin, Ireland, on June 8th. The results were determined by the votes of 1.2 million passengers. Over 1 million flights operated by nearly 600 global airline companies were rated by passengers in categories such as seat comfort, cabin services, catering, entertainment systems, and Wi-Fi. APEX's 'Outstanding Achievement' award was presented to Ersin İnankul, iGA's Chief Digital and Commercial Officer.

iGA Istanbul Airport secured this year's 'Best Syndicated Loan in the EMEA region' at the annual EMEA Finance Awards, hosted by EMEA Finance Magazine, meaning that it has won two awards, just one day apart.

Each year, EMEA Finance evaluates and awards leading international financial companies, regularly profiling key financial institutions and creating a platform for their target audience to gain a more complete and comprehensive understanding of their peers and industry news.

At this year's 14th annual awards ceremony, iGA's successful refinancing, achieved in 2021 at a cost of 5.8 billion euros and extending its maturity by two years, was also honored with an award. At the EMEA Finance Awards Ceremony, held on June 9th in London, England, iGA Chief Financial Officer, Selahattin Bilgen, accepted the 'Best Syndicated Loan in the EMEA Region' award on behalf of the company.
