HAVAİST

HAVAİST offers accessible midibuses for guests with wheelchairs. Wheelchair users who wish to use this service are advised to notify us in advance in order to minimize their waiting time.

 

Wheelchair-users who wish to travel to the city center from the airport are required to submit their requests and route preferences, at least 1 hour in advance, by contacting HAVAİST through their communication channels or by visiting the HAVAİST counters located on the transportation floor.

 

Guests who wish to travel from the city center to the airport should submit their request at least 6 hours in advance through the HAVAİST communication channels. Please specify your preferred route and pick-up point.

Accessible Taxi

906 accessible parking spots are available close to the elevators and terminal entrances. Reservations cannot be placed for these points.

 

We provide accessible black luxury taxis for guests who use wheelchairs and who will be using a taxi for transportation from our airport. Guests who wish to use an accessible taxi with a seating device that assists them in getting into the taxi can register their request at the taxi desk located in the greeting area on the arrivals floor or via the contact number provided below.

The departures floor is connected to the 4th terminal entrance gate with accessible elevators, Braille alphabet signs, roads and directions to the Istanbul Airport metro station, which was built in accordance with accessibility and serves up to Kağıthane.

Accessible Parking Spaces

There are parking spaces close to the entrances and elevators on every floor and car park spaces at our airport for our disabled guests. Disabled guests who wish to benefit from the car park service free of charge for up to 15 days must be physically present in the vehicle and present supporting documents related to both the vehicle and themselves at the payment point on the P3 level of the Purple or Red parking area. Guests who have difficulty walking may use the valet access points to enter the payment area by vehicle.

Disabled Passenger Drop-off and Pick-up Points

For our disabled guests, designated pick-up and drop-off points are indicated at entrance doors 1, 3, and 7 on the departures floor. These entrances feature tactile paving for visually-impaired guests.
