Spotter Area

Istanbul Airport has inaugurated Türkiye's first official Spotter Area for enthusiasts of aviation photography. The application system for the Spotter Area, designed to offer aviation enthusiasts a platform to gather and capture stunning images, was launched on June 1, 2024. The Spotter Area is only open on Saturdays from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and iGA provides complimentary transportation in vehicles departing from column no.7 on the -2 floor.

 

iGA has established Türkiye's first official spotter area at Istanbul Airport, offering a unique opportunity for aviation enthusiasts to watch aircraft landings and take-offs up close. The Istanbul Airport Spotter Area is strategically situated with a commanding view of Runway 1 and the Air Traffic Control Tower.
