1. Left Luggage Offices
There are two baggage storage offices at Istanbul Airport: one next to the domestic arrivals exit gate and one opposite exit gate 13.
2. Postal Services & Cargo
- UPS Cargo: In addition to domestic and international shipments, UPS Cargo also provides in-terminal courier services at Istanbul Airport. The cargo office is located at Counter A.
- PTT: PTT offers postal services on the landside of the domestic departures floor.
3. Visa Violation Office
Located next to the A Ticket Sales Island, the Visa Violation Office handles procedures for passengers with foreign passports who have overstayed their visa. Such passengers must apply here after receiving their boarding pass before leaving Türkiye.
4. Lost and Found Property Services
Items found inside the terminal, including at security points and in the car park, are kept at the iGA Lost and Found Offices.
For items lost or left behind on board, please contact your airline.
5. Vat Refund
For Passengers with Checked Baggage (Before Passport Control)
Passengers who place purchased goods in their checked baggage must have their tax-free forms validated at the customs counters during check-in, after obtaining their boarding pass and baggage tag from their airline’s counter.
- For Turkish Airlines passengers: Counters G3–4–5
- For other airlines: Counters K25–26–27
For Passengers with Hand Luggage (After Passport Control)
Passengers carrying purchased goods in their hand luggage must complete the validation procedure at the customs desk located immediately after passport control, on the right-hand side.
After validation, refunds can be collected at the Global Exchange points located behind the post-passport information desks on both the right and left sides.
Note: During customs procedures, passengers must present the products, the tax-free form, receipts, boarding pass, and passport. The tax refund form must be signed by customs officials.
6. Customs Declaration Offices
Passengers who need to make a customs declaration can complete their procedures at the following customs offices:
- Opposite the M check-in counters (departures floor)
- Transfer passenger area
- Opposite Gate E3
